Roofing in Annetta North

Annetta North is small and rural with large lots. Homes and outbuildings, often with metal roofs.
Annetta North sits in Parker County, which takes the same spring hail as the rest of North Texas. Most of the roofs we replace around here aren’t worn out from age, they’re worn out from one bad afternoon in May.

We don’t charge to come out. Seth or one of the crew will get on the roof, photograph what’s up there, and tell you plainly whether you have damage worth filing on. Read about how hail damage actually works, look through jobs we have finished, or get in touch.

We come out, get on the roof and photograph it. No charge, and no pressure if it turns out you are fine.

What goes on under the shingles

Then the details. New pipe boots every time, because the rubber collar on the old one splits from UV in ten to fifteen years here and drips into the ceiling below long before the field of the roof is worn out. Step flashing where the roof meets a wall, properly woven into the courses rather than smeared with sealant. Drip edge at the eaves and rakes. Ridge ventilation sized for the attic.
The part of a roof that decides how long it lasts is almost entirely invisible once the job is finished. That is exactly why it is where corners get cut, and why we photograph it.

Decking gets inspected once the old roof is off. Soft or delaminated sheets get replaced rather than shingled over, and we will show you the picture of what we found. Older homes around here frequently have plank decking rather than plywood, which changes how the job goes and is worth knowing about in advance.
When to replace and when to wait
Age matters as context rather than as a verdict. An architectural roof in North Texas realistically runs fifteen to twenty five years, and hail usually ends it rather than age. If yours is in that range and a storm came through, that is worth an inspection. If it is eight years old and nothing has happened, it very likely does not need attention.
The honest position is that we would rather look at your roof twice over five years and do the work when it is genuinely time than sell you a roof today that you did not need. That is a slower business and it is the one Seth wanted.

The signals that genuinely matter are these. Granules collecting heavily in the gutters, which means the shingle surface is wearing through. Shingles that are curling or cupping at the edges. Bald spots where the mat shows. Any daylight visible through the deck from inside the attic. Repeated leaks in more than one location, which usually means the roof has stopped being repairable and started being a replacement.
Warranties, and what they actually cover

There are two warranties on any roof and people routinely conflate them. The manufacturer warrants the material against defects. The roofer warrants the workmanship. Most leaks are workmanship, not defective shingles, so the second one is the one that matters most in practice.
Ventilation is a common quiet exclusion. An improperly ventilated attic cooks shingles from below, and manufacturers know it, so inadequate ventilation can limit a claim. That is one reason we look at your ventilation as part of the job rather than treating it as an upsell.

Ask any roofer to put the workmanship warranty in writing with a term on it, and then ask the question that actually matters, which is whether that company will still exist and answer the phone when you need it.
What people say
From customers
We had a great experience with Seth and his team at Ovation Roofing. They were professional, honest, and very easy to work with throughout the entire process. Communication was clear, the work was done on schedule, and the quality of the roof looks fantastic. It’s refreshing to work with a company that does what they say they’ll do. I would absolutely recommend Ovation Roofing to anyone needing roofing work.
Roof replacement customer
Seth came out and checked on our roof and was super kind, quick and efficient. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with explaining exactly what we needed to do and what the process would look like. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them and made sure I understood the process. I had another quote from a different company and this was a completely different experience.
